ASSEMBLY FOR THE EUROPEAN SOCIAL FORUM
On Sunday, the Mobilisation for the European Social Forum (England) are hosting an assembly to explain the processes behind the ESF, to inform people of the best ways of getting there, how to get involved and how we can influence the programme of the ESF itself. The meeting is open to any one who wants to come along.
If you are in a group which might want to organise a seminar at the ESF, this really represents your last chance to get your proposals in and have a chance of making it all happen.

AGAINST THE ARMS FAIR, AGAINST THE WTO.
Sept 9th and 10th are the main days of action against the DSEi arms fair and the WTO.
Protests will be going on all day in London's Docklands on the 9th and 10th, including a large number of affinity group actions and public demonstrations. For more info see www.dsei.org the website of the Disarm DSEi umbrella group.
Globalise Resistance are leading a demonstration at the very beginning of the arms fair and we hope to give the merchants of a death a very warm welcome. Press reports an extra 1600 police are being drafted in to protect the Arms Fair - this, during the terrorist-sensitive time of 11 Spetember. It's hardly a surprise that plonking a great number of weapons of mass destruction in the middle of one of the most important cities in the world needs a lot of security. Perhaps cancelling the arms fair itself might make this world (and London's docklands) a touch safe. Just a thought.
GR activists spent the weekend deciding just what the arms fair should look like - and we came up with a huge, but beautiful tank. Go on, have a look, and make sure you cojme and see it in it's full glory on the demonstration itself! www.usurp.org.uk/tank/index
Meet at **8.30am 9th Sept** at Cundy Road recreation ground opposite Prince Regent DLR station (Docklands Light Railway is connected to the London Underground tube network). We will march to the ExCel centre, where we'll be joined by many other protesters from across London, the UK and Europe.
